Directive 2009/128/EC (Sustainable Use Directive – SUD) aims to achieve a sustainable use of pesticides in the EU by reducing the risks and impacts of pesticide use. To implement the measures set out in the Directive, EU member states have drawn up National Action Plans. The European Commission has established a web portal to provide information on current developments in the implementation of the SUD across the EU and to support the exchange of information between Member States. All Member States’ current national action plans are published on this web portal.A search tool gives access to official Member State websites on the sustainable use of pesticides.
